Styal Country Park and Quarry Bank from Styal Station – Sunday 12th October 2025 (afternoon)

Join us for a gentle afternoon stroll through the peaceful Styal Woods and along the beautiful River Bollin valley. We’ll take a look at Samuel Gregg’s famous Quarry Bank Mill, a cotton mill built in 1784 in one of the most picturesque waterside settings, now one of the best-preserved textile factories of the Industrial Revolution.
