New Mills – Monday 19th May 2025 (evening)

We’ll take a gentle evening stroll around New Mills, a vibrant little town in the foothills of the Peak District, standing high above a natural rocky gorge where the River Sett joins the River Goyt. The town has plenty to offer in terms of natural beauty punctuated by impressive viaducts and historic mill buildings and is well worth exploring. Train from Manchester Piccadilly 17.35  About 2.5 hours walking.
