Alderley Edge is a magical place worth a visit at any time of the year. Full of natural beauty in its woods and rocks, it has much to explore of historical interest too. Sadly King Arthur, by legend asleep deep inside the hill, still couldn’t be found despite exploring the cave!

Perfect walking weather for our trip to Hebden Bridge! Our route from the station up the steep cobbled path and steps to the ancient village of Heptonstall gave us wonderful
