**POSTPONED** Bamford Edge (Peak District) – Sunday 15th December 2024

Due to ongoing major disruption to sunday train services due to staffing issues at northernrail, this walk has now been postponed until early in the new year. If you are interested in this walk please register on our site and we’ll let you know as soon as we have a new date.

Join us to experience one of the most famous views in the Peak District. Bamford Edge sits high above the Ladybower reservoir, Derwent and Hope valleys.

We’ll take the back lanes from Bamford station into Bamford village and go straight to the ascent of Bamford Edge. After our photo-stop at the popular viewing point, depending on the ability of the group we’ll either retrace our steps to Bamford and visit Bamford Mill or take the longer way back down to the Ladybower Dam and along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way back toward to the station.
