Salford Quays – Thursday 16 January 2025

Salford Quays offers a very pleasant winter walk in an area of great historical significance to the development of the city of Manchester. Our waterside route will take us around the old docks past Media City, the Imperial War Museum and the Lowry Centre. We’ll also visit the historic Ordsall Hall, the third oldest building in Greater Manchester (dating back to year 1177), a true ‘hidden gem’ within the modern development of the Quays. Meet at Salford Quays tram stop 1400. Duration 2.5 to 3 hours.
